At their annual meetings, the ENIC and NARIC Networks identify priority issues for their work.  A number of themes proposed have not been addressed due to a lack of time and resources and may still be considered.  At the same time, the Working Party on Recognition Issues in the Bologna Process has identified a number of highly topical recognition issues that should be addressed by the Networks.

The Code of Good Practice for the Provision of Transnational Education will be submitted to the Lisboa Recognition Convention Committee for adoption in June 2001.  At the same time, the Confederation of Rectors’ Conferences of the European Union is carrying out a study on transnational education in the EU and the EEA, commissioned by the European Commission.  From both contexts, it is clear that obtaining and providing reliable information on transnational education is a major concern that should be addressed by the Networks.
