Open University staff take honours with National Teaching Fellowship Awards
Open University staff have won four awards at the 2007 National Teaching Fellowship Scheme Awards, announced today. Professor Mark Fenton-O’Creevy (OU Business School), Professor Stephen Swithenby (Science) and Dr Linda Anderson (Arts) all won individual awards in recognition of excellence in teaching.

Secretary General - Observatory of the Magna Charta
The Observatory of the Magna Charta is seeking to appoint a Secretary General with vision and enthusiasm to lead this important and successful initiative into its next stage of development. The Observatory has already achieved recognition in Europe and beyond in promoting and monitoring the values and principals of the Magna Charta Universitium, which has now been signed by more than 500 universities.
