Programme annotation

The academic studies for the Bachelor's degree are held alongside with the professional studies and they comprise acquisition of 160 credit points (240 ECTS).
The content includes three parts:
Part A (compulsory courses) - 80 CP;
Part B (restricted choice courses ) Ė 51.5 CP;
Part C (courses of free choice) Ė 28.5 CP

Programme annotation

The academic studies for Master's degree take place after Bachelorís studies and envisage obtaining of 80 CP within 2 study years (4 semesters).
The content of the programme includes three parts:
Part A (compulsory courses) - 68 CP - must be acquired by every student.
Part B (optional courses) - 12 CP - at least 2 courses must be chosen.
Part C (additional courses) - 4 CP.

Courses are offered in order to obtain higher professional qualifications in the speciality of education and sports with the following qualifications:

Part A (compulsory for all students):

teacher of sports (at elementary, lower secondary and upper secondary schools);
teacher of social sciences (at elementary, lower secondary and upper secondary schools);
manager of education and sports.
Part B (elective) - students have to choose at least one of the following:
a coach (of a selected kind of sports),
a physiotherapist,
manager of active tourism and recreation,
teacher of basic military knowledge.,
specialist of handicapped sport.

Part C (courses of free choice):

aerobics coach,
masseur,
additional coach speciality,
specialist of corrective gymnastics a.o.
In the compulsory part the studies of all four qualifications are obligatory for everybody. The qualification is awarded to these candidates who pass the state examination consisting of 2 parts (practical and theoretical).

Courses of the programme are offered in order to obtain first level higher professional qualification of a coach (of a selected kind of sport).

Programme of doctoral studies in sports pedagogy

LSPA offers also doctoral programme in sports pedagogy. Duration of the programme is 6 semesters (120 credits).
